The i.am 3D Experience Lab was created in partnership with Dassault Systèmes to teach students professional design skills using CAD (computer-aided design) software.
At Roosevelt High School in Boyle Heights, students are using CAD to design innovative products, from robotics parts to musical instruments, and then bring their creations to life through 3D printing. Working with industry mentors, students are encouraged to use their maker skills to think big and solve global challenges in robotics, architecture, environment and health.
