i.am STEAM
i.am ART

i.am ART aims to inspire creative thinking about solutions to our global challenges through the promotion of the arts with science and technology.

Innovation can’t exist without the arts and creativity. In 2008, The Peapod Foundation opened the first Peapod Music & Arts Academy, a cutting-edge arts center serving at-risk teens at the Watts-Willowbrook Boys and Girls Club. Similar programs were launched in Oakland, Redwood City, New York City, and San Jose.  The Peapod’s mission is to transform the lives of underserved students through meaningful arts programs that help strengthen academic performance and position youth as agents of change in their communities.
