i.am/Angel Foundation Partners with Boys & Girls Club To Give Back For The Holiday Season

This holiday season, the i.am/Angel Foundation is proud to support the Boys & Girls Club of West San Gabriel Valley and East Side!

A holiday grant was given to support the students and families of the Estrada Courts Clubhouse in Boyle Heights. The funds from this grant will gift kids: toys, school supplies, and clothes; just in time for the holidays! Groceries will also be provided to the families of Estrada Courts for holiday meals.

This isn’t the first time the foundation has supported the Estrada Courts Clubhouse for the holidays. For the 2020 holiday season, the foundation partnered with the Boys & Girls Club to host a Holiday Event. Students and families from the community were invited to take home toys and groceries, and were also given laptops as a way to close the digital divide so many of them faced during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Grants have also been awarded to them in the past to update their STEM Lab, so students can access quality devices such as laptops, desktops, tablets, and 3D printers, as well as participating in opportunities such as FIRST Robotics.

The i.am/Angel Foundation would like to thank the Boys & Girls Club of West San Gabriel Valley and Eastside for all their hard work and dedication. The holidays can be overwhelming for families, but it’s thanks to the support of great partners like them that a difference can be made for communities like Boyle Heights.
