Hack for L.A. brings together the city’s best coders and civic hackers to help solve the city’s biggest challenges using technology innovation. At the inaugural Hack for L.A. event held on June 1-2, 2013 in Boyle Heights, Mayor Eric Garcetti gave a keynote speech to over 400 Angelenos who were eager to build apps for social good.
