on The 100,000 Strong Initiative was established in September 2012 to help answer President Barack Obama’s call to deepen Americans’ understanding of China through study abroad. Today, the 100K Strong Foundation is making that dream a reality by promoting the expansion and diversification of Americans studying Mandarin and studying abroad in China. The i.am.angel Foundation is proud to partner with the 100K Strong to provide Chinese language classes and study abroad opportunities to the students of Boyle Heights. As will.i.am says. “Learning Mandarin and studying in China can be transformative. This program will give kids from my neighborhood the opportunity of a lifetime.”
